Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Gujarat University facilitates its students for admissions to courses on merit bases or conducting Entrance Tests during month of June. For admission to external courses, The advertisement will be given in the reputed news papers during August month. Application form of external exams available from university website too.
  2. For regular admissions to the courses in affiliated colleges/institutes candidates can search the appropriate college/institute and shall contact the particular college/institute directly.
  3. A list of affiliated colleges/recognized institutes are given on university website.
  1. The applicant who wants to get admission in any recognized university from Gujarat University has to pay a fee of Rs. 110 / - (Rupees One Hundred and Ten) which is to be paid online at https://fees.gujaratuniversity.ac.in/ 
  2. To obtain the Migration Certification, the student will have to fill up an online form. While submitting the online form, the student must also upload clear and readable images of the latest Mark Sheet and the Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last college.
  3. Regular students will also have to upload the NOC as per ‘Form for NOC’ with the signature and stamp of the principal / director of the college on the College Letter Head.
  4. The student will have to submit the original Transfer Certificate (TC) when she/he comes to collect the Migration Certificate from Room No. 14, Main Building, Gujarat University. Kindly note that the student will NOT be issued the Migration Certificate without submitting the Original Transfer Certificate (TC).
  5. External students will not have to upload the Transfer Certificate (TC) NOC as per ‘Annexure-1’.
  6. The student may collect the Migration Certificate THREE(3) days after filling online application and upon submission of the Original Transfer Certificate (TC) along with the receipt of payment of fee. The student may collect it in person from Room No. 14, Main Building, Gujarat University.
  1. A student, who had already received degree certificate earlier, is only eligible for the duplicate degree certificate.
  2. Application form is available from Examination (Room No. 42) at free of cost and also available on university website.
  3. After paying the fees of Rs. 500/- at Cash Counter (Window No. 20), the form should be submitted to Examination Section (Room No. 42) with fee receipt. A student can send demand draft in favour of "Registrar, Gujarat University" amounting Rs. 500/- for the degree certificate.
  4. Students will get the Duplicate Degree Certificate within one month from Examination Section (Room No. 42) in person.
  5. A Legible attested ZEROX copy of the Mark-sheet and degree certificate of the relevant Degree Examination must invariably be attached with the application form.

  4. Uploading of invalid documents or Incomplete Application is liable to be rejected and fees once paid will not be refunded.
  5. At the time of collecting documents, please come with ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT at Gujarat University.
  6. Original Transcript must be deposited at Marksheet Department, Gujarat University within 5 days after final locked application by the Applicant.

Those whose Second Year Exam was conducted by respective Colleges have to apply for SY Verification Separately.

  2. Upload Copy of Six Months/One Year Housemanship/Internship Completion Certificate issued by Gujarat University (For Student of M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.P.O., B.O.T., B.Opto., B.H.M.S. Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
  3. Upload Copy of Six Months/One Year Training Certificate (For Student of B. Pharm/D.Pharm)
  4. The Certificate Will Be Valid only For Six Months From Date of Issue.
  5. Certificate will be ready by 15 working days. Collect Your Certificate Within One Month From Date of Application.
  6. If Degree is Conferred As Per Our Records Then fees Paid Will Not Be Refunded.
  7. Students who have passed exam in April/May 1991 cannot apply for Provisional Degree Certificate. Such candidate should contact Convocation branch, Exam Section Room number 42 with Final Year Marksheet.
  8. All the regular students who have passed exams of BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BCA/B.Ed/ MA/M.Com/M.Sc between April/May 2011 to Nov/Dec 2017 cannot apply for Provisional Degree Certificate. Such candidate should contact Convocation branch, Exam Section Room number 42 with Final Year Marksheet.
